Brass Processing Services - How It Works

Placing your Order

Prepare Your Brass For Shipping

Complete the Brass Processing Order Form.

Email us your form to bayoubrass@gmail.com
You can call in your order if you so desire.
Upon receipt, we'll contact you to confirm your order and to address any questions or special requests.

Prepare Your Brass For Shipping

Sort your brass by your caliber. Ensure that your brass is segregated by caliber.
Remove: damaged cases, live primed brass, berdan primed brass live ammo, 22s, steel cases and any other debris from the brass.
Failure to do this properly can delay the processing of your brass.
Cleaning your brass. You don't need to clean your brass but if you do, it does speed up the process. The cost is the same.

Receiving Your Brass

We ship via USPS or FedEx Flat Rate Boxes. This is the most economical means to ship. Please let us know how you'd like to ship your brass so we can send you appropriate shipping label.
Include your Order Form in your boxes.
Purchase your shipping labels in the Shipping Section below.
We will then email your preprinted shipping labels.
Attach the labels Securely to your boxes and send them our way.

Receiving Your Brass

We will notify that your brass has arrived.
We will provide a estimated ship date to return your brass.
Generally, 5 to 10 business days.
We process brass on a first come/first serve basis.

Processing Your Brass

We then begin processing your brass. Any unusable/damaged brass is discard unless otherwise directed.
If we discover any signs of over pressurization, case separation or any other adverse signs in your brass we will notify you.

Returning Your Brass

Once your brass is fully processed, we will invoice you for the number of pieces processed and return shipping.
We can accept payment via Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo or USPS Money Order.
Once payment is received, we will ship your brass to you.

Pistol Brass Processing:

.03 Per Case

We first clean your brass in our commercial ultrasonic cleaner to remove dirt, carbon and debris.
Decap & Ream/Swage to remove any primer crimps.
Full length resize the brass. Note* We Additionally Roll Size: 9mm, 357 SIG, 380 ACP, 38 SPL, 357 MAG, 38 Super/Super Comp, 40 S&W, 10mm & 45 ACP.
Tumble your Brass in Stainless Steel Chips to provide a very clean and shiny finish both inside and out.
Polish your brass in corn cob and our polishing solution to provide a beautiful luster to your brass.

Your brass is cleaned in our commercial ultrasonic cleaner.
Decapped, then Swaged or Reamed to remove any primer crimps.
Full Length Resized and trimmed to length. Note: 223 REM & 308 WIN are Roll Sized as well.
Quality assurance Checked
Brass is wet tumbled in Stainless Steel Chips to debur the brass and provide a very clean and shiny finish both inside and out.
Dry & Polish your brass in our dry media to provide a beautiful luster to your brass.

RIFLE HEADSPACING

PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT TYPE/S OF ACTION YOUR BRASS WILL BE FIRED IN.

We headspace your rifle brass according to the action of the rifle you are reloading for.

Proper headspacing your brass will better alloy you to load more accurate and reliable ammunition.

If you'd like brass headspaced to a specific deminsion, please let us know. We'll gladly accomodate your reqeust.

Converting Brass to Another Caliber

.07 Per Case

Annealing. In addition to our standard rifle processing, we anneal your brass during the conversion process.
This is the RECOMMENDED way to prepare brass for conversion to another caliber. Annealing adds more life to your brass, providing more reloads and reducing neck splits in the future.

* These caliber converions are .10 per piece due to the additional labor requ

Please DO NOT size the brass before you send it to us for conversion. The brass needs to be UNSIZED for caliber conversion.
